:bigpimp: :hitit:  We are supposed to be getting a version of that in 2003 (as a 2004 model I believe) sold in North America as the Acura TSX.

I'm holding off on my new car until I see that :D

the Acura 3.2 Type S is nicer IMO fool the tsx is no tl! different cars!

theyre both built off the global midsize platform BUT the tsx is meant to be a smaller car for ppl who want luxury in a car not as big and boaty as a tl. think of it as a FWD is300. i bet this car will be appropriately powered by a tuned version of the k24....240ish hp. thatd be coooool.

Here's the stats kids:

6speed manual
217hp @ 8000rpm
151 ft-lbs @ 6000 rpm
2L
11.5 compression
Engine: K20A, the same engine as in the DC5 Intergra Type R

hmmm...K20 again...its a great motor and everything but...those stats look like they belong in a CTR or ITR (and/or RSX-R) or at least more of a smaller sports car, for some reason i feel that the accord should have a bit more torque or at least peak horsepower sooner than 8k

Here's something to ponder...

The top of the line non TypeR Accord (This includes the wagons) in JP run with:
K24A
200hp @ 6800
171 ft-lbs @4500
10.5 compression.
~1420 to 1450kg

R: 1390kg

I think I'd rather opt for an AWD Accord Wagon, looks like it would do better off the line.

the tsx is actually a really small car, kinda like the is300, so its alright to have a small 2.0 powering it.

I recall the accord euro-r being a lot smaller than our domestic market and the jdm accords......

ahh...thanks, for clearing the size issue up, i've never seen a JDM or Euro accord in real life...

with the new accords, theres only 2 styles...usdm and jdm/edm
