So are you going to be driving your cars this winter or will you be parking it in the garage and driving something else?

Are they like Miatas, where you can't drive them in the snow?

you interested in buying one yourself?

No, not at all. I was just curious. Kenny's car seems really low to drive in the winter. So does Rage's car come to think of it.

I'm a truck kind of guy, I'm looking at buying a 02' F150 Super cab Lariat Edition or a 03' Nissan Frontier Supercharged Supercab. I couldn't afford one of those SLKs anyway! lol

Those trucks are so different from each other in so many ways! One of my buddies has an 02 F150 XTR and its actually a pretty nice truck. I think he only paid $33k + tax. If I bought a truck, it would probably be a Sierra C3 or a Harley Davidson F150

lol! I know heh? The Nissan is the same price as the F150. The Nissan is 40 000 and the F150 is around 45 000 for the one I want.

There was a 02' Harley demo model super cab for 50 000 at the Ford dealer. I don't need something like that though.

The Ram is nice too. You can get it with a Hemi engine now too!

Hey Pete.....is that the one with the S/C'd 5.4L engine? Or is it 2003? In any case, I think it's pretty pimp. Trying to get my dad to buy one for work!!:D

Yeah, the HD F150s's are s/c'd. But they only come in 2WD and wouldn't make a great year round driver.

I like the Escalades too :bigpimp:
Lately, I've been leaning towards a truck or SUV for me next vehicle :dunno: So confused...

SLK's are year round cars. The hardtop's there for a reason :D.

I'll be raising my ride height, and slapping some decent winter tires on :) can't guarentee the top being up for all of winter though! haha.

I'd tried to get my dad to keep the Infiniti until after winter so I could drive that in the winter but it looks like he wants to sell it next month so I have to drive the SLK during the winter reluctantly. As for winter tires, I'm getting a set of Michelin Pilot Alpins.

Hmmm...if all the SLKs are being driven this winter, looks like I'll drive my car as well....one, my car is not as nice, two, all you really need is a set of nice snow tires

Like Miatas? You can't drive them in the snow? Wtf are you talking about.

I drove my old Miata for 2 full years summer and winter every day of the year. This was in Manitoba too, where it gets cold as a mofo, and snow is deep as a mofo too. Slap some winter tires on there and let the fun begin.

Then again, I didn't care about the Miata, even though it had 40k on it after 10 years. I'm garaging the TT for sure this winter.

The list has changed quite a lot since last time I posted some pics. I'll get some good pics in the next couple days.:)

We still have the Roush and it is in Edmonton right now. Over winter it is going through a little bit of a change.

Relax dude. Every Miata owner who I knew (who also lived in Saskatoon where it is the same as manitoba) put their cars away for winter. There was also an article last year in the sun about putting your Miatas away because the snow is coming.

Honestly, whatever car it is, if you can put winter tires on the car, it can be driven in the winter. Diablos have problems finding 385 winter tires, so those get garaged :D.
