I'm looking to buy a laptop with the following "minimum" specs. If your laptop is better, PM me, if your laptop is the same, PM me, if your laptop matches most of the specs, PM me, if your laptop is worse then this in most or all categories, don't bother :)

256 MB Ram
40 GB Hard Drive (5200 RPM)
CD Burner
15" Display
Excellent Condition

how much are u willing to spend?

I'm willing to spend the right price for whatever's offered to me. I have a $3,000 budget, obviously I'm not going to spend $3,000 since I can get a 3.0 GHZ HP laptop on eBay for $1,000 USD (roughly $1,300-1,400 canadian). I'm asking on here because I'd rather do the money exchange in person rather then on eBay and I'd rather get the laptop immediately after payment :)

with that money u should goto futureshop or staples...they have great sales at times

Yeah right. My brother bought a laptop on beyond last week, exact same model was at Staples for almost $1000 more. Also, anyone who buys any computer products at Future Shop is overpaying by an enormous margin, if I was going to buy from a retailer, I'd buy the parts at Memory Express and build it myself, but I'd like to see if anyone has anything here before I do that.
