how much would it cost to let say add a LCD screen to the front top where the sunglasses holder usually is. and add a camera at the back of your car showing the rear ( so like the rear mirrow. except its by a camera).. including installation..

Why would you want this?

You could basically turn around in your seat and achieve the same effect no?

yeah but this way if you have a small back window, or you have stuff on the ledge or some shit, you can still see everything....

not like just point at the rear.. that would be useless cuz you have a rear mirror. but point sorta back and at the rear bumper..so when you are, you can see how far away your from the toher car so you dont slam into it :P or if you start getting Tailgate you can record it and laugh later? :P

they have them in vans
those are pretty cool sometimes i guess. like when backing up and you want to get as close as possible to the rear without hitting the back

exactly....they are a conveinience...just another thing to make people have to think less....but if someone rear ended you....and they broke your camera...that would suck ass!

i think it'd be neat if you got a widescreen lcd and mounted cameras on teh front fenders pointing backwards and also a panoramic camera on teh rear bumper thus enabling to have a superwide view of the rear . . . then you don't even have to shoulder check . . . haha
