I saw this when it came on DVD and I must say it's actually a good movie. Pro-American or not, it was still a decent sports movie.
On the special features disk, one of the special features is about how they wanted hockey players who can act, as opposed to actors who can't play hockey. Good idea on the directors part. But then I noticed that all the players in the tryouts were wearing Flames practice jerseys (the one with the horse).
Does anyone know why they're wearing them? I heard it was filmed in Calgary, but then I looked it up and found it was filmed in Vancouver.
