elise has a very very healthy power to weight ratio.

you could still see it gettin raped on the striaghtaways though. ya i know it's power to weight ratio is great and you could see that through the twisties, but it lacks the top end grunt needed on a long race track.

The Elise weighs just under 2000lbs and has an amazing suspension setup. While it's not as fast as the other 2 cars in a straight line, the Elise is made for the twisties.

passing him on the inside like that. forcing someone to the outside like that can be disasterous
I still don't think a Elise could beat a F40 though. there was a big difference in driver skill there, I think.

The Elise cannot beat the GT3 or F40 given a race car driver driving all 3 cars. The only reason the guy in the Elise was passing them was because he was a better driver, bottom line.
