Apart from turbo's superchagers, and NOS, is there anything else you guys use or have heard of, that can improve the performance of a car to such a level as these??

get that BOV sound maker, increases HP by 100+ :D or stickers man!! stickers rule!!

you could always get a much bigger displacement engine. or you could go really crazy and get twin engines.

If you want big hp gains, really the only choice is forced induction (turbo/ supercharger) or NOS.

Yeah i didnt mean it to read the way it did soz!

I know all about turbo's, and i know about Superchargers and NOS, but ive heard rumours of something new, REALLY NEW, that is just hitting the scene in canada and america, and is unknown in the UK at the moment! A mate of mine, has spoken about fitting this new thing to his car, and says his car will then be mad!
(At the moment he has 350bhp, with just over half boost on the turbo, in a small car, a fiesta! Dont know if you guys have heard of them!) And he says its going to be madder than that!! So i was wondering if you guys had any idea??

This rumour, could you give us some more detail??

Fiesta, as in a Ford. We don't have them here.

I was thinking the same thing thats why i asked you guys to see if you knew, because i dont, ive just heard of something, from two friends, who are very very very secretive about it!
All i know is they will be imported from canada or america, and will make crazy power!!

MrX

So your friend with the Fiesta already has 350bph under the bonnet?? If this is the case, please tell me what he has done to the engine already??

Very few people know about this, and you should stop asking about it on car forums, it is schedualed to be released early next year to the public in north america and the company, APC, is keeping it very hush hush. This new engine performance feature, refered to as WYAI, is said to safely increase power outputs on bone stock motors by almost 100 percent with no damage to internals or driveline components. That's all I can tell you right now, but keep checking the APC site, something should be appearing very soon!

Hard to believe APC and performance in the same sentence.

Here's a pic of WYAI. It's been slightly edited to remove some pieces.

I'm not making fun of it. I'm merely surprised and shocked that APC would be making a performance part.

Fools.

When you are as deep into the car industry as me, you would know that all this talk is about the TORNADO intake system.

That's one crazy ride mate. Those specs sound kind of familiar.... I deal with lots of people in the UK for Cosworth bits and might know someone with a car with similar specs. What's your friend's name??

icic...i was thinking of someone else. But i don't think his engine is in a Fiesta. It's inside a focus. Even crazier is some guy who threw a YBT engine (cossie engine) inside a Fiesta! damn try that one on for size:thumbsup:

damn Jeff beat me to saying "tornado"

but seriously...the only way to double power without a method of forcing more oxygen (and fuel into the engine) is find a fuel that burns with about twice as much power and half as much air and functions perfectly well in internal combustion engines suited for gasoline...and im pretty sure chemists would have thought about that by now

the tornado might work for carburated engines...but as for sticking it in your intake of a fuel injected car...it does as much as an electric turbo
