XM Radio ?'s

Okay im confused now, I want to get XM radio, the problem is what do i need? I know when you buy the reciver it usually comes with like a mount. But like what is an FM modulator, and how are they powered, i saw all kinds of stuff like the cig adapter power plug. Mine dont work in my maibu, if i bought the reciver besides monthly fees and activation chanrges, what all do i need? My sony HU is XM ready. Im clueless with satilite radio

Ummm... OK buddy... good to know you can still get it here. XM has made a box specific for Canada as far as I know. But either way, you can get the XM boxes and make them work... it costs $10 a month american... I would go more in depth, but this has been discussed in like 5000 threads, try using the search feature,
