Hi all, wondering if anyone can help me out.

I have an older MD player, the ones where you record music directly to the disc. My cousin just got a new net-md. Since I have a bunch of blank md discs, can they be used on the net-md's and record mp3's?

Hopefully this came across clearly. Let me know.

depending on what generation your net MD is, I suggest upgrading the software they give you. That is if you are using Open Jukebox.

As long as you record them normally (stereo) on the new MD player, the discs will work in the older model. What you have to watch out for is using LP2 and LP4. The older players don't support those formats, so you won't be able to use the discs. I used to burn MD's for my buddie's older player and they never had a problem.
