I am looking at my friends 93 Stealth TT, and he rolled it, and now doesn't care for the car, all I gotta do is pay for the impound and retrieval fees, est $1600. So basically I get a wrecked stealth for $1600.

The car is in the Yukon, so I could only take pics of the car, and not drive it to different autobody shops, and ask quotes. But I am in Calgary in the fall for school, comp sci, but where are cheap/good places to get a wrecked car fixed up.

From the pics and looking at the car, it needs....all 4 quarter pannels, rear bumper(maybe), looks like damage to the rear axle, springs, shocks, etc. But couldn't tell. The engine bay is intact, no damage there, and all the pillars are fine, no bent pillars. Roof has some dents.

My question is, do you guys think it's worth it to fix up. I mean it's kinda beat up....

Post a couple of pics. Some autobody guys can do wonders, and some backyard guys will do it cheap and sometimes really well.

It's going to cost you a lot to have a body shop fix all of that and replace those parts. If you can do any of it yourself or find a backyard guy as WeaponR suggested it would help. I would think it would be worth picking up the car even to part out. I imagine those TT engines are worth more than $1600 alone although you have to factor in your fees for towing or whatever.

I got pics, but there are lilke 1.3 meg pics. can anyone host, or does anyone know how to lower the resolution/compress the pics a bit.

Also, I think I could buy most of the parts, from places like ebay, baragin finder, etc....I think a body kit would be the cheapest.

Anyone know a backyard guy that could do this?

I'd pick that up in a hurry! I was expecting much worse. If nothing else it's a great parts car!

yea but shipping from the Yukon isn't cheap, est $1000 for a "parts car only" plus I gotta pay that $1600....now whos got a good autobody guy for me?

most of that, if not all, could be repaired without parts.

i would take that car for sure! its not that bad imo.. plus you could definitely part everyone out and make triple your money.

Parting out is alright, but tons of work, I think I will try to fix it first before I go ahead and part this sucker out.
