Do you guys take your cars to lonestar or another MB dealer for service or do you do your oil changes etc yourself or at a garage which is cheaper?

I only go to Hyatt...I personally hate Lonestar with their shitty service, snobby 5$ salespeople and no parts discount ;)

For oil changes I go to Mr Lube on 32nd ave NE but do all major repairs etc at Hyatt....

I hate to ask stupid questions but rage2/girlracer, are you indifferent between alpine autowerks and Hyatt for servicing or is there a particular service that you use Hyatt for and AA for.

Also, do they pretty much charge the same price?

thanks

Hyatt and Lonestar are dealers. Alpine autowerks is an independant shop that charges better rates than the dealer, highly recommended for ANY non warranty work.

Marc (owner of Alpine) worked at Benz dealerships in town and in Korea before starting his own shop.

www.alpineautowerks.com for shop info and contact info.

Yeah Alpine will be doing the engine work on my car in the near future, I got burned by a non-dealer mechanic last summer so I went back to Hyatt for everything but Alpine gets only rave reviews about their work and I figured I'd go there next time I needed something big....

I used to work in the Hyatt parts dept. So I guess I'm pretty biased by saying go to them for your work. I mean, all I've heard is bad BAD things from lonestar.

Only thing that's kept me from going to Hyatt is the Business Malpractice that was outlined in the paper a few years back. I don't remember the details, but it's enough to keep me away.

Well if it was that far back, its being run by completely different people now. So I dunno, wasn't there that long ago, but all
I know is how bad I hear Lonestar is compared to Hyatt.

i think i'll just follows rage2's advice and take my car to AA for routine maintenance work.

Any warranty work i'll go to Hyatt.

Seems like the consenus is Lonestar has pissed people off one way or another.
