Damn, now if it was the 280ZX, then it'd be perfect. But for what that is, I'd take it in a heartbeat. Beauty.

Oh yeah? And my lack of knowledge shows through yet again. Why is it that the 260's are wanted more?

The 260Z was produced during the model years 1974-1974.5. This means that their production run was short, therefore they are fairly rare. That would also make them about 30 years old right now. Keep in mind that a classic car is one that is 25 years or older and it usually increases in value as it ages. Since the 280zx was produced between 1979-1983, the '79 models are just 25 years old now so it has just enterered the classic car classification. So due to the fact that there were fewer 260's made than 280zx's, and the market value for a 260Z is higher, they are more saught after by collectors.

I will give you this however
The 280zx turbo is more fun to drive by far than the 260Z. So to you I am sure that the 280zx is the car of choice, and I would have to agree for the fun to drive factor. Hell, the turbo 280zx is faster 0-60 than a z31 300zx turbo.
