Dear Civic SI......

Today as I was exiting onto 16th Avenue Westbound from 68th St on a MERGE this black civic SI in the left lane on 16th Ave decided to change into the lane I was merging into. Not only that but she then cut me off so I had to go back into the merge lane and get in behind her. I honked at her and she proceeded to give ME the finger.

she was driving with what seemed to be her grand mother and her sister as well. Honestly what the hell?! You cut me off and give me the finger?! The nerve of some people.:guns:

If you see this Black Civic SI (2 door) License plate YPJ-614 please give her the finger for me.

Just so you know, if there are 3 lanes like in your case, you on the right, and other car on the left, and you both go for the center lane and actually crash, it's 50/50 fault, both parties have to pay.

So if you both decided to go for the same spot at the time, she didn't really cut you off. This happens to me ALL the time. I always swerve back to my lane, cuz it'd hurt more for me to damage my car. Drive defensive!

The only difference here is you're in a merge lane, and supposedly, the right lane and your merge lane is supposed to yield to each other. Her lane on the other hand does not have to yield to the merge lane, but she is allowed to change lanes to the center lane, which would make my example qualify in your case.

yea, LEGALLY it would 50/50, but its common courtesy to NOT change lanes into the lane that people have to merge into right at the merge point.
