Looks like GM is borrowing torque management ideas from mopar :tongue:

Its a nice vehicle but I still think they've priced it just a bit too high :dunno: I haven't seen too many on the road

A torque gauge?

Torque delivery is where all the powerful engines are heading. The SRT-4 engine delivers torque instead of RPM. The typical ECU programming on an engine is designed to increase the RPM of an engine when you hit the accelerator. That might be a wise strategy if all engines produced their peak torque at redline, but most do not. So ECUs that manage torque are a smarter way to go since when you floor the accelerator, the ECU is going to do everything it can to produce as much torque as possible, rather than simply making the engine spin faster.
