So I've tried using google, with no avail.

So whats the story with them, when did they start, and how many generations were there? Were they all called the Corolla GT-S, if not whats the difference between the GT-S and the Trueno, IF there even is a diff?

Is there web page out there, or someone here who knows these cars that could help me out?

none in canada have lsd. it came as an option in the states tho, so there are a couple here and there with lsd. u can get an aftermarket lsd for the corolla tho, cusco, kaaz, trd are the 3 most popular options.

Cool, well thank you very much for all your help...

Now, I was thinkin old school Austin Mini, or this.... still trying to decide. But sounds like the Toyota would be way more fun to drive. Any in Canada for sale, under $6000 and in good shape? Tried Canadatrader.... nothing.

Mine is going up for sale around the mid to end of July. It's in TO with me right now but if you are seriously interested in it we could work out the shipping of the car into the price when I come back to Calgary in August. PM me if you're interested

Was the RWD 1985 Corolla GTS I had when I was a kid 12 years ago considered an AE86?

That was a fun little car. :)

Lennon there is a red coupe sitting in a driveway by my house in Edmonton. It just sits there and goes to waste. If you want me to get a phone number for you I could. Its got the usual fender rust.

The SR5's are AE86s. AE86 is the chassis code and they share the same chassis, just different suspension and other options.

sr5= crappy engine and suspension and interior.

And also, correct me if I am wrong, the SR5 vs. GT-S, isnt the body construction slightly different...I think I read somewhere that the GT-S is stiffer than it's SR5 counterpart...

You MUST be careful around them as they will mislead you for their own gain, and nothing is worse than being burned by a trannie.

lol, I know that the coupe is better, but it's just so damn ugly, I'd rather live with a slightly heavier car, then some ugly thing. jeff, it's ok that your gay, just stop telling everyone.
