If anyone knows of or has a tool to remove a HDD password from a laptop HDD in a IBM thinkpad I need it ASAP :)

The password is there to protect the data. You cant format it with the password enabled :(

If I was a tech and didnt try that already, I would like suck or something.... :D

Nope, I need a program or hack to remove it...

if u know linux there are lots of good prog's that can test username:password combos....I think all u need to do is put the HD in as a slave on another machine and test away.... there's a couple for win32 but there more for "testing" ISS servers and networks..... but they still should work localy on a slave drive cause the windows password format is basically the same... pm me for more info....

Hehe that IBM one is a bad one. You can send it to IBM and they will reset it or just buy another HD.

I think I found a program that might do it thanks to network techie friend :)
