I was sitting down with some friends tonight talking about cars when the honda del sol came into discussion. A friend of mine was saying that the honda del sol in all other continents other than North America had the same targa roof however the roof could be removed automatically. He told me that at a push of a button the rear trunk would open and electric arms would come out and take the targa roof off and bring it into the trunk. Is this true? If it is I can't believe I never knew about it. Does anyone have pics of vids thanks

edit: there was actually a thread about this on beyond a long time back...heres a link to a VIDEO of what it does :)

Why would you make such a false assumption when it is known that that's how the non-north american del sols came?

Btw thanks alot for the link nismo...that setup is awesome even if it does take a minute and a half to remove the targa

wow...that is amazing, and it only takes around 30 seconds, that is actually almost cooler than the hard top convertibles like the sc430 and whichever mercedes have them... bmw is fallen a step behind on this convertible technology, they should have used it on the 6 series

Its really cool but the mechanism takes up half the trunk space, small as it already is and also adds about 200lbs I heard. Look on Cardomain.com they have tons of people with it.
