I was thinking of buying a short ram intake for my 2000 civic sohc. My choices were Injen, AEM or the DAC. Can anyone tell me which one would produce the most power and what one would be the better deal. Thanks.

Buy the cheapest one and then go buy a better filter. A tube is a tube, they're all the same, its the filter that is affecting the air flow. I also suggest going with a cold air intake instead of the short ram. Just my 2 cents.

yo man, don't expect to feel any difference in power after you install your short ram, they really don't add that much. But what you can expect is a way nicer sounding car, and a prettier engine bay.

i installed it today and it was very easy. the sound of my is so nice. It sounds much more powerfull and has a deep tone to it. The power gains are little but i am glad i purchased this intake.

i just bought a cold air (vibrant performance) intake for only $120 at stripe-tech. i do realize that it will not give me much of a diffetence since it is a cheap brand, but i can go and put on a k&n filter and it will be as good as a $250 intake but it will cost me less than $200:thumbsup:
