I've wondered for years how much it costs to lease/rent/maintain one of these things. I always thought it would be cool to head down to the basement and voila, a slurpee machine. I'll probably spend twice as much on dental bills afterwards, LOL. Anyone have any idea what these things cost?

Those are slush machines - I assume he's after the real macs/7/11 slurpee ones. I too need one as I buy at least 1 every 2 days but those cheapo knock offs are no comparison.

A diet coke one would be great (0 calories) but apparently the sweetner used permanently stains the canister so you can never use it for anything else.

Slurpees are essentially a Canadian thing

Holy crap, 8300 slurpees per month?? I wonder what the dental decay and diabetes statistics are for Manitoba.

Yeah, I want one of those 2-flavour slurpee machines that you see at Sev or Mac's.

Your best bet would be going to 7-11's distributor which is Bridge Brand Food Service. You can individually order what ever you want from them.

Bridge Brands Calgary number is 235-8555.

Good Luck and let us know how much they are.

I think $1.38 saved a day ... $20,000 ... hmmm
It'd take 14,492 slurpees to pay it off. Assuming one a day, that's almost 40 years. Not really worth it. Those Taylor guys are the ones that make 7-11s slurpee stuff. Considering one machine weighs like 550 pounds, they can't be cheap. CO2 costs a lot but at least the flavour syrup lasts forever... one bag makes 200 liters.
