its illegal to drive these on the streets, they are not street legal, they do not have lights ect... and the tires are probably not approved.

Just to let you know, like said above. These are not street legal, and are intented for closed course or on your own property. If your ride it on the road or the side walk, you can face, fines, confescations etc...even little 50cc minibikes, you hafta to register and insure...i dont think you can do either with these..therefore, it being motorized, it cant be driven on public roadway

I rode my bike to 7/11 and it 10 block away and some cop saw me they didnt say anything . they just laugh maybe i'm lucky. Like i said when u saw them coming just pull on a sidewalk and slow down..

then not only will you get ticketed for driving an uninsured, unregistered unroadworthy vehicle, but also for operating a motor vehicle on the sidewalk.

its not made for the streets, so dont drive it on the streets, you'll just be a hazard to others.

dont get me wrong, they are great little bikes, when they are used in a controled closed circuit course.

When I was 12 my parents bought me a www.go-ped.com scooter. I am not sure if the rules are the same here in alberta but. something can have a motor on it, and not be considered a motorized vehicle if.....

1. Must be under 50cc
2. Must not have a clutch or gears. (direct drive)
3. Must be operated on sidewalks in a safe manner
4. And not disturb the peace while doing so.

I used to live in kamloops, And I ripped all over the city on it. For a kid it sure got me around, and climbed mountain roads well.

Although the police did hastle me a bit, they were never able to lay any charges. That is of course after I brought up the technicalities....

If it was socially acceptable to ride one, I probably still would. lol.
The b16 civic works much better for picking up chics!!! haha.
