Grat looking bike, don't have that much money for one right now but I'll let you know if I come up with that, I think Bow had them for just a little more than you're asking though at the end of last season. 2400 retail, Bow had them for 2000 new

Bow cycle has them for 2500, i bought it for 2400 and have barley riden it, broke my collar bone right after i got it so it has been hung up for a long time.

your looking for 17'' frame? this is an 18''. Thats like not much difference at all when it comes to a bike like this.

I raced XC for 3 years and switched into freeride downhill 3 years ago. The difference between the 2 types of bikes and riding reqs is so different you can't compare them. Additionally the 1" size difference is pretty much negligable. Length and what not can be modified by different setups, trust me I know I have built 4 bikes for myself, 3 are from scratch. If you got the $$$ go for it.

FR and DH bikes vary so dramatically with geometry that 1" from one manufacturer to another isn't going to mean shit. That's why many frame manufacturers like Balfa only sell their frames in small, regular or long. The best thing to do is try the bike on and look at all the factors.

There right dude, u cant compare x country to DH , 1'' is like nothing and with differnt handel bar set up and such it can make so much difference. Its a amazing bike.
