I'm gonna be buying new parts to upgrade my comp tomorrow and I was wondering which is a better motherboard between these:

Athlon XP Socket A 333Mhz FSB 2600+

or

Athlon Mobile XP 2500+

I heard the mobile XP possesses good overclocking abilities whereas the newer Athlons like the 2600 have none. Is this true?

Also I'm going to buy the Abit NF7-S motherboard. Is there a big difference between the NF7 and the NF7-S?
Thanks!

If you're looking to O-clock your PC, go with the 2500+ XP-M.

Yes it is true. The non-mobile processors contain the same core as the desktop processors but require less voltage, thus creating less heat enabling them to be overclocked far better than their desktop counterparts.

The abit NF7-S contains the soundstorm chipset (On-board Dobly Digital Decoding) whereas the NF7 does not, the NF7-S also supports 400Mhz FSB, whereas the NF7 does not.

Hope this helps.
