It probaby will be way over $200K ... from what I heard ... even a SL600 or SL55 now .. is near $200K already ...

and probaby sold out for the first yr allocation ?

One of my client, he has a 04 SL55 and already with Rentech stuff on the car .. 533 HP ... and he has a SL 65 on order already .. so good to hv money ! :D

But I will still perfer the Next 997 Turbo ! :thumbsup:

The amount of power/torque these things come with in the SL55 is already alot, but the SL65... man those are insane numbers. INSANE!

Isn't Mercedes-Benz only producing a limited number os SL65's? I think it was 50?

I forget which MB car it was, I'm pretty sure it's the SL65. :dunno: :confused:

No the SL65 should have a normal run for a 200K car....the SLR is the limited version car

Remember that barnburner 604-hp, twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG we noted in our New York auto show coverage (AW, April 12)? Turns out that if you want the pretty silver model that Mercedes showed in the Big Apple, you’d better hop to it because that was one of 50 special-edition SL65 AMGs headed Stateside to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1954 New York auto show world debut of the 300SL. We’re told the Silver Arrow metallic paint job, AMG black Nappa leather and a load of anthracite carbon fiber interior bits on the commemorative model will add about $10,000 to the SL65 AMG’s sticker (which will begin well in excess of the SL600’s $120,000 base price—think $180,000 US). About 500 SL65 AMGs go on sale later this summer.
