1982, not even 45k on the odometer. It's a perfect beginner bike, quick, forgiving, listens well, crashes well (a 20km/h lowside, only bent shifter, broke clutch, no mechanical damage). Needs a new headlight housing + headlight, brand new rubber front and back. Has custom headlight mod right now, but can and will take off if requested.

I'm looking for $500 obo. I'm specifically looking to trade for a car however. If you got a beater car thats cozy, runs well and is easy on gas let me know, I'll trade.

Pics and specs will be provided upon request.

Serious inquiries only please.
You can reach me at 829-3913, if i dont answer leave a message and I will get back to you, my name is Dave

These are the only 2 pictures I have onhand. And trust me, bike is alot cleaner in person. I forgot to mention the previous owner left some dents in the gas tank which I haven't fixed yet because I don't have the money.

I can find a replacement but it will take time, I don't have money to do it right now, unless you wanted to get it, i could install it, but i'd discount 25-50 dollars off the asking price to cover the cost of the light.

dcoultis - yes I work there, who are you? hehe.

Here are current Pictures of the bike.

It's really dirty, hasnt been washed in a while, but it will be sparkling shiny clean when the key is handed over.

Oh yeah, I might add that there is no ignition for the bike that utilizes a key. You have to push the button to turn the ignition on (did this after I lost the key) you can always fix it or hook/rig up another way of turning on ignition. however, i get friends to try to start the bike and none of them can figure out where the ignition switch is.

Remember Guys and Gals...

I will do trades on a car. I'm really hoping to find a good deal on an older 3rd Gen Z24 Cavalier. I really would LOVE to have another one. SO if anybody has one, and is willing to trade, I'll give you my bike, my riding gear, and possibly a few extra hundred dollars depending on it's condition.

Even if it's a 95 with high km you are still looking at 3-4000$

do you mean 88-94?

if u can just pm me, tell me about the engine and what not...it would be great I'll just post them here for everyone to see.

It's an aircooled twin cylinder 449cc engine with a 6 speed transmission. (6th gear is overdrive, great on highway). Because it's an old bike it burns out a little bit of oil, not much, but every time you fill the gas tank, about every ~200km you need to top up the oil. The engine has a slight knock, that is because the Cam Chain is a little bit loose, so all you need to do is take the carbs out, and adjust the tensioner on the outside of the engine casing to adjust the cam chain and turn the knocking away. I haven't had time to do it and probably won't in the forseeable future. I took the baffles out of the exhaust, I think it sounds great, it's pretty noisy, gets attention, thats for sure! If you want to know how fast it goes, I've had it top out at 160km/h (100mph) which isn't bad considering I weigh in the neighborhood of 220 pounds and am 6 feet tall. The bike is very very forgiving, it allows you to make mistakes with no reprocussions, good on the highway (I've had it to lethbridge a couple times).

The only things I'd be concerned about with the bike is the left fork seal, it appears to be ruptured and needs replacing. The bike has a brand new front tire that's not even mounted, the twin rear tire is mounted and has about 250km on it, very good grippy tires keep you on the road in the rain and in the corners. They are both worth $175, of course, included with the bike.

All in all it's pretty rock solid, runs great, does not smoke, and is fairly decent off the line.

I hope this information helps whoever is interested in the bike. I'm looking to get rid of it all, so I will include the bike, tires, jacket and gloves for $650.

Please PM me if you want to look!
