Well, I have decided that I am probably going to sell the STI. Its been a fun car but Im not really liking the idea of donating so much to insurance companies anymore.

A little info on the car...

2004
Java Black Pearl
22,000 kms

Lightly modded, mods include the following:

Blitz SUS Intake
XXTuning (GTSpec Gen 2) Header and Uppipe, ceramic coated by Top Gun coatings (1800 degrees, the highest they offer)
Godspeed downpipe
Blitz Nur Spec R exhaust
STI Group N hardened strut tops
STI "pinks" upgraded springs

The following comes with but is not currently on the car (or opened for that matter):

Whiteline rear differential bushings
Whiteline steering rack bushings
StaticX grounding kit

It also comes with the Ecutek DeltaDash datalogging tool, 1 license of which is tied to the car, and 2 extra unused licenses remain.

I have a set of Semperit Sportgrip winter tires which worked great this winter that have been used for 1 season and will also be included.

Because of the mods and extras, I am thinking I would like to get 47,900 for it. You would get most of the stock parts as well, and it would be fairly easy to swap them and sell the aftermarket ones if you so desire.

note, pic was taken before the new springs were put on. springs lowered the car slightly.

at least...

downpipe + exhaust alone is worth 40+
that header on a stock car is good for 25ish
the blitz sus consistently shows gains of 15-20 on godspeeds dyno according to them

who knows how they act when added up though, but thats a ballpark...the cars are pretty restrictive from the factory, its easy to get back alot of power by opening up.

turboxs got over 400hp with just intake, exhaust, and fuel/timing/boost tuning

How much have you spent in Mods?

Well...

Blitz SUS Intake - $200 USD
header/uppipe - $600 USD
ceramic coating - $130 CAD
downpipe - $400 USD
catback - $550 USD
springs and strut tops - $650 USD
whiteline stuff and grounding kit - $100 USD
DeltaDash - $350 USD
tires - $650 CAD

Thats about 4 grand CAD right there, plus shipping large items over the border costs alot, easily another 500 there...then there were all the times UPS and fedex raped me, but we wont get into those fees :) Then probably another 1k in labor.

Part it. I would think about buying some stuff if the price was rite. You'd prolly make more money by doing so anyways, regardless if it is a PITA.

How about the computer ? have you chipped the computer ? I am looking for something to chip my car, and by the way, will you sell those upgraded parts ?

No, I havent touched the ECU. If you want info on what can be done with it, where/how/cost etc, send me a PM, Ill give you some things to check out...

And yeah if I did part it out, Id sell all the aftermarket stuff individually.

Ok, I think this is for sale again :) Looking to get around 46k without mods, open to reasonable offers. Dont ask for specific parts just yet - nothing will be for sale unless there is a buyer for the car, so I'll worry about that after.

decided 46k is a bit high and sort of want to move this, new asking price is 43k. thats nearly 10k savings over buying brand new!
