:banghead: Hello, I hope someone out there can help me. I have a 240 sx 1993 with daytime running lights that don't work. While at the Nissan dealership getting some work done on my car I had asked the guy to check and see why my running lights won't work. Well I guess there is a module or relay box that was never put on at the factory and for $225.00 they will be glad to install one for me. Screw that I went to an import wrecker and can get one for $25.00 that is guaranteed to work. My question is ,WHERE does this friggin' thing go? There doesn't seem to be a place for it where the dealer's mechanic says it should go and the auto wrecker guy doesn't know. Does anyone here know where ? or is there more than one place, or can I over-ride this damn thing? Thank you for any help you can give.

Hmmm all I know is its connected to the E-brake somehow cuz once u start the car and put ur ebrake off, the lights turn on, but they dont turn off again when ur ebrake is applied again so I'm not much help but yeah

:dunno: Yeah I don't know where it is but I'll find it. I just didn't want to go to the dealer to have it installed. I won't give up. thanks for your reply DJ.

It should be just plug and play, you just have to find where the box is supposed to go. There should be already connectors ready to plug to the relay box. on my car it's located at the passenger kick panel. Try asking on 240sx forums I'm sure they know.

I know on the 1993 G20 it is under the radio area, remove your center console and you might see 2 wire harnesses just hanging there. If not there try by the passenger side kick panel on the floor by the door.

By center console I meant the center floor console

your best bet would be to go sit in someone elses $240 with the engine running and pull the e brake on and off and listen for the relay clicking, I think its above the drivers kick.
