welpz another thread for yet another subie meet.
this time i hope i've posted alot earlier so you subie guys on here read this and come join us!
planning a date for this meet is still in the process. we're aiming for july 3rd or 4th or else july 10th, 11th.
keep on checking up on this thread or the thread below to keep an update on when we're going to do this.

There is both platinum silver metallic, and the new color they added for 2005 is crystal grey

Well I was going to get the Silver one they had, but then the Grey came in the next day... I think that it might be the first in Calgary.

The GM of Centaur told me to drive it hard right from the get go and not baby it for the first 2000 kms...

I said, are you going to fix it when it is burining oil after 10K? He said he would... hahaha

Weird? Subaru is pretty clear about their not going over 4k for 1600kms.

I have actually seen 2 grey ones already in town.

Sorry I couldn't buy yours, but Black is a nightmare to keep clean... also, 2005 the other seat is heated, got to keep the passenger happy as I am ripping around corners... The updated interior in nice... except for the L.E.Ds from the Saab 9-2X

No worries, enjoy the car. Im still undecided as to what Im gonna do with mine. If I got an offer I liked on everything Id probably go for it but I dont know if I want to go through the hassle of parting everything out and listing it and waiting for it to sell etc.

i just got a reply back from keith from techworks. and so he is welcoming us to come and take a tour of the shop etc etc.
since there was quite the interest on going to techworks in the NASIOC thread i emailed him and asked.

ok the plan:

meet up @ deerfoot (walmart parking lot) around 1145ish we'll hang around there for about an hour or so.
head over to techworks take the tour.
maybe grab a bite inside deerfoot mall if anyone is hungry before we leave to techworks.

well if any of you have any other suggestions please post :)

edit: yes techworks makes their own parts for subies. they are even located in calgry if you havent already figrued it out. the site is techworkseng.com i believe

i hope you are joking. ya.. let me give you a quick break down. these are very rough estimates. it will probably work out to be more in the end.

$10g tranny
$8g build bottom end
$4g heads
$3g valvetrain
$5g turbo and components
$1g fuel system
$10g + for that twin charged system from FAT
$2g ecu

not to mention suspension, brakes, and probably well over $20g's of stuff i didn't even list.

so ya... if you got the money you can do anything you want.
