I just need the light shield for H4 HID conversions for stock housings.. but it just surrounds the bulb to minimize glare. Anyone have anything? Its something like this, but obviously not home made http://faq.auto.light.tripod.com/9006-hid-lower-shield-example.jpg

You can get em used but you aren't going to save a whole heck of a lot... going rate is about $40 - 45 :)

If you don't wanna pay that much just make your own.

I bit the bullet and ordered them from the site. At least I know they will work well. Thanks for the replies.

Ya I wish I did---I bought the Xenondepot klit a week ago installed about a week ago.

My friend at work plans on doing the retro---she just has to decide on the donor.

Cool what car did you perform it on? What kind of projector did you use? Are they BI-xenons? Was it hard to do?

I did it on my 99 integra, i used projectors from a mercedes SL500 which are bi xenons....it was easy to do, but took a while though! lots of cutting involved....but well worth it! haha

I did a retrofit on my last car. Turned out way better then simply having d2r bulbs in there. Produced alot of great light, wasnt blinding anyone, and had great cut off

however, it was alot of work, lots of testing, fitting, retesting, etc...

if you are to do it, Try and get an extra set of headlights, so your car isnt out of comission while you do the work

true that ---crap I hope I don't crap my first set---factory lights can be pretty costly--I guess I could always sell them.

nah i'm still running my high beams with the OEM bulbs, i figured that i wouldn't need the hid high beams. also if i did connect the high beams to the HID's, then i won't be having day time running lightd......but maybe i'll hook them up sometime considering they're bi xenon...haha we'll see:thumbsup:
