Crappy tire has an arc welder that will apparently do up to 14 guage for $199 I think. I've seen it advertised for $149 on sale before. I kinda wanna get one to play with auto body panels but I don't think it's really the right tool for the job. Anyone every try one of them for automotive work?

I had one of those Crappy tire welders before. I think it went to 75 amp. It was good for small projects, but don't try any frame work or anything with it. For $150 it served its purpose.
