I may have to list my limited edition Calvin Klein socks for sale.

people sell jeans and shirts here all the time

Have you ever heard of Value Village? Or any other thrift shop? They all sell second-hand clothing, and people do buy from them. Nothing different online. Anyone buying second-hand clothing should be smart enough to clean them though...it would be dirty otherwise ;)
