Should I or shouldn't I?
Premium White Pearl with it's tri stage paint is difficult to match and it turns out I have to paint the following sections of my car

4 piece lip kit
Roof
Driver and Passenger fenders

:banghead:

When the car comes out, half of it is going to be a different color. Right now I am looking at $1500, to repaint the entire car, it'll be $3000. What do you think?

do thew whole car hot pink Sam, just like you were telling me the other day.

Seriously tho. I would paint the whole car if you got money to burn to insure proper match.

And if you only have $25 to spend on painting it, try this:

Just going to repaint it the same color. I'm unsure what I want to do because the color scheme will be off:banghead: Not sure if it is worth it to repaint......:banghead:

PPW is really tough to match. But man, for $1500 your half way there. I would paint the whole car so it would match pefically only if:

your going to keep it that way w/ those mods for a long time. B/C if you change your mind and get a new kit or something, your in the same dilemma.

I dont see why they can't match it. Im not a paint expert but a color is a color. If its a half decent bodyshop they can match it no problem.

Some whites are very hard to match due to paint issues and drying times each will give you a diff color and with a custom type paint when you re-paint it nothing will match the paint.
paint fades and discolors due to heat and nature.
If you have the $$ re-paint the whole car.

If it is a good body shop it shouldnt be a problem as long as they spray the pearl in the same direction as the rest of the car(facotry). Then im sure it will match fairly well since the car isnt that old at all

waste of money, the paint color will be so close definitly unnoticeable.

Getting done at National.....Tony said it should be a 95-98% match but I keep hearing different things from the Pearl White owners:nut:

It's not worth it to repaint. No matter who you take it to, the quality will never be like a factory paint job. Get the small rusting part fixed, and leave it at that.

Pearl is very tough to match, even with the best painters. They keep trying different tones until they get closest to your cars original color, but even then, it still sometimes looks off.

You'll lower the value of the car for resale purposes because regardless of the documentation, a full re-spray to potential buyers will indicate the possibility of major body damage...match as best they can and live with it...
