Couldnt it be an XKE? My guess would be a 1963 based on the headlight covers.

nope it is an e- type the XKE was a 2+2 I believe it is a 1966.. :drool:
nice spot, and the front bumper looks kinda like the mouth of a goldfish

I'm going to point out 1 thing here. the E-Type and the XK-E are the same thing. All of the non-marketing literature from the factory referred to their popular two seater (and 2+2) as the E-Type. "XK-E" has found its way into popular culture though, probably due to the fact that the factory used the term in their sales efforts.
The name XK-E comes from the engine. It specifically is known as the XK (Similar to say a B series honda motor, its sort of a family name). Jaguar started with the XA engine and kept changing and redesigning it until they were happy, which just happened to the be in the K evolution, hence "XK".

The E types are one of the most popular european classic cars. Such nice lines....cool sighting for sure
