So, Internet Explorer has decided to be stupid...

I can't open more than 1 browser...and if I do it automatically closes the newest one I open.

So I did a ad-aware and I used my Virus scan but nothing. And it still happens, anyone know whats going on?

You can't keep up with all the spyware shit that's for sure. I used ad-aware and spysweeper and got different results from both.

haha i sometimes wonder how u guys get all that poop on your computer. ive never had spyware/worm problems cuz i keep my virus software updated and i use windows update. i run adaware like once every half year. my computer still pulls off a 90 second pifast (stock 2100+ and 512mb ram)

Ya your prolly right, but most of my shit came from kazaa, and some of it never goes away. and some of the shit that goes away comes back.

i run adaware and spybot 3 times a week and i always have more shit. So i switched to mozilla. Im still in the first week of using it, but so far i like it. pretty similar features to IE6, plus some awsome ones you dont get with IE6. Hopefully this will help curtail some of my spyware issues.

My IE is fuck dup and will staed fucked up unless I reboot, but fuck that.

I got Mozilla Firefox, way better than IE and has a built in pop-up blocker/ google search box. Really fast. And you can open lots of webpages within that window, because it creates tabs, or you can just open a new window. Get that instead. :thumbsup:

haha i dont surf no porn, i came on my computer this morning and it happened...but i was polaying starcraft for the first time in a year maybe thats what fucked it up haha.

what port are you running your mouse through? USB or PS/2? Could be an IRQ conflict, open up your device manager and look for ! marks, and try updating your mouse drivers and such.

ive used firefox for a while and like it alot, jus a few issues compared to ie, mostly affecting calgary planet ppl who enjoy the effects, movies, and sounds of ppls pages, i don't think all of those features have been put into it yet. but yea its good for stoppn LOTS of popups and ads, pair it up wit tweak xp's ad blocking thing and ur basically ad free.

Nutscrape Gecko I use for general browsing, IE for trusted sites like the forums I visit. IE sucks anymore though because all the spyware/popups/viruses are built specifically for it.

firefox is actually just the browser component of mozilla, its the same code. for people that dont want the all in one mail/news/browser/chat program and just want a browser, you can get firefox.

k thats a known usb mouse problem. its just your bios bitchin out. what u want to do is update your bios and if that doesnt work, then just go "black magic" on the usb settings in the bios til the problem goes away. or dont friggen touch your mouse when the comp is off. thatll do the trick too.
