I've just found a new company offering 1 GB email accounts. No need to read ads, and its an alright system.

Its still in the beta phase, and there are sure to be a few small problems, but its not too bad at all. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and racked up about 5mb of email.

Im gonna stick with hotmail until its dead. nuthin beats msn messenger. But thx for the tip just in case;)

Hotmail is great for msn, but this is an alternative for bigger files or forwards. Nothing is worse than not being able to send/receive a document for work/school because hotmail's weak 2mb limit won't allow it.

and hotmail is slow sending a receiving e-mails too. thats another problem.

hotmail is going to bump the limit soon. probably 250MB.

All you have to do is make a new passport. It will ask you for your email address, and at that point you can enter any valid address.

True, my buddy is on yahoo, and we set up MSN to work with that.

I use my personal domain email address with messenger. There are some signups that force a "@hotmail.com" and other generic ones that don't, depending on the portal that sent you there. Very gay - I actually emailed Microsoft to bitch about it.
