Im organizing a floor hockey team for work and we've got about 20-25 people who can play weekly.
thing is I cant seem to find a place to play lol.

Anyone know of anywhere other then schools and some churches?

We will pay, thats not a problem, thing is we dont want to have to buy plastic sticks:)

anyone have any ideas, or space we might be able to play.

send me a pm or post

Firepark used to rent out the rink they had there...we used to play there a few years ago, and you can use your regular stick...heck a couple of times the caretaker let us use our Rollerblades too...but I am not sure as to if there is even a rink there anymore...

I dont recall the price, it got split between the players...

its located on Barlow Trail right before Memorial Drive...across from the new Telus Building and DeVry and shit...

it's across the street from Superpages and Stantec.. I work for Datagroup and our office is at Firepark. That sports place looks pretty nice.

We used to have soccer kickarounds at the Cedarbrae Community Center.. they have a full gym with nets and stuff.. it's 40 an hour I believe..

Firepark was a terrible place to play. It was nice that it was a rink and there were boards and shit. But the floor was always really dirty and slippery.

Cedarbrae is in the Southwest.. by Oakridge.. West of 14th Street. About 5 minute southwest from Rockyview Hospital.. Probably not your best choice if all of you are up in the north.

that eliminates those two choices:banghead:

dirty slippery place and other side of the city.
