Hey everyone I was just wondering what sort of events are planned for July 1st?? I know about the fireworks at C.O.P, but is there anything major/minor going on during the day? Much thanks.

I think there's gonna be something all day at Prince's Island Park

Anyone know what the fireworks at COP will be like? They go off at 11:00pm, & is it gonna take me like, an hour just to get home?

Apparently the road/parking lot for COP closes at like noon so if you wanna watch them up close you have to spend your whole day there :thumbsdow

really? so early? I thought the celebration/family entertainment started at 7:00pm...? :dunno:

but regardless, parking will be impossible there... I'm not really familiar with that area, but where else could you go to watch outside of COP?

Beginning at 5:30 most of the C-train stations in the north have shuttles going to COP and start coming back to the train stations once the fire works are over

I'm entered in a street hockey tournament with 4 other friends. It includes dj's throughout the day, bbq, prizes. Then afterwards I think I'm just going to head up to COP with them to view the fireworks.

Apparently theres shit going on at Princess Island Park.. i'm surprised no one mentioned this. Some buddies and I are going to drift down the bow river, have some bow riva shooters and then party it up at PIP lol
