Whenever I put my msn on away or just leave the computer it will automatically log off then log back in like 10 seconds later. Its annoying because sometimes I'll be talking to someone then it just logs off:whipped: . Does this happen to anybody else.

I hate when it does that, cause I'll be away at work all day and it will sign me in online, so I get this huge influx of MSN's and I am not their to reply, so then some of these goofs think I'm actually ignoring them and get mad! :rolleyes:


I would check your internet connection. Are you running a Firewall/Router/Wireless internet?

I have zonealarm running and a linksys router.
Thats also why i want to fix it, because I'll be gone to work or something and it logs on, tons of people message me and think that I'm at the computer and of course I'm not here to say anything back so they think I'm ignoring them:nut:

I've tried reinstalling it, doesn't fix it.

you can change it your settings!
you can set it for 30secs and it will change to "away"
look in the options menu

doesn't matter, it's the principle of it, people are dumb, they see your thing pop up "Ben has just signed in" and people are like "oh, I needed to harrass him about when the photos are gonna be posted" and message you, then it goes to away shortly after and they're like "WTF, he;s ignoring me."

just go to "appear offline" and it goes online by itself!!

EXACTLY. As soon as they see that you have logged on they send you a series of messages like "Hey, when are you gonna burn my porn?" "Hello?" "????????????", then it switches to away and they're like WTF, bastard.
