Used to be is right. Gone up slightly. Had to renew mine and it was a bit over $60. Fun fun.

According to the A-Plus Registry website,

First application/renewal 5 year $ 62.49
Duplicate/exchange operator licence $ 20.49

Depends what you tell them. If you say you broke it they charge you 20 bucks, if you say you lost it they charge you more. I was curious because my lisence is on the verge of breaking so I went and asked.

yeah, but you have to turn in your old one, so if you don't have a old liscence, you're stuck paying the 60 bucks i guess.

Yah I never even thought of that. But you could give it a try anyway. Try two diff places, at one place say it broke so you threw it out and if they dont buy it goto another place and say it was stolen. I don't know if it will be cheaper if you say it was stolen:dunno:

I lose my wallet on an annual basis, and it only costs $20 to replace a lost liscence. The last time I went in was about 3-4 weeks ago.

Did it last week, $20.

Same for car registration if you keep that in your wallet too. But you can actually buy another year of car registration and save yourself $20.

When I got my new license, I just told them my old one was broken because I wanted to keep the old license style (Won't let you have 2 licenses). He said if I brought in the pieces he would give me a new one for free. But I just said I threw it out haha.. Cost 20.49.

^ Old style will be phased out, all new issues will be the new style.
