The new 300's seem really popular.I see them everywhere. Looks like D-C has a hit on there hands.Is there anyway to tell which one's are V6's and which are V8's ??

Lots of them are rental cars .. I belive ... when I was on the way to Ice field .. Banff .. Jasper .etc.... they are everywhere ! and most of them are Rental !

And for $30,000 .. even for the V6 ! that is a bargain ! and $40k for the V8 ? and it is almost a old E class .. bargain ! can hardly buy a 8 yr old E320 for $30K ..but now .. a new one for $30K ! not bad ! I think this car really affect the sale for Accord, Camry, Nissan .. etc .. :thumbsup:

For sure man. If you were to de-badge the 300C, you could roll around and fool people that it's a new Bentley. But then again... it's so common now, and especially since it's advertised on every single TV channel, people would know now.

The resemblance is unmistakable to a Bentley Continental.

im not sure they are that close, but the overall shape is very similar. That probably why they seem so classy. i never thought about that but your probably right. A subconsious indicator of a RR or bently.

I think the V8's have dual exhaust. or dual exit

i think the car is beautiful, but i think a car like that with that sticker price is like chrysler degrading themselves and an exterior like that, the interior is certainly a dissapointment to me with all the plastics. i'd rather have chrysler raise the price and just build a real luxury sedan

Yeah they looks alot more distinctive than the previous model, very classy, versus sport luxury.

6 months from now that car will play out, remember the PT cruiser, or even the stealth. :barf:

The wheels should be different, if they 18 inch wheels then its a V8, also if you look at the headlights I believe the V8's are the only ones to have HID's. Oh and I've seen some road tests that clock the hemi doing 14.1 secs in the 1/4 at just over 100 mph.

the simplest way to spot the 300c from the 3 other 3.5L v6 counterparts is the front bumper, particularly the fog light housings.

A V6 300;

The Hemi 300C;

The V6 models usually come in an unpainted black plastic finish (contrary to the first picture), while the Hemi is a single piece that blends with the rest of the cars paint. Also the badging is a dead give away [/smartass] :D

Here's the 300...

And the 300C...

The headlight is also another give away...

The 300 has an integrated signal. The 300C only has the low beam HID and the high beam.

The 300C has crome on the front bumper and the mirrors as well.

For sure, but you can't compare a 30-50 thousand dollar car to a half a million dollar car.
