She wants either a 00+ prelude , 94+ integra , 2001 audi a4 1.8t

The problem is that shes gettin a automatic. I bet the automatic integra would be so slow .

Which of these cars are great just to zip around town.

Id say the Audi, and the all wheel drive will give your parents piece of mind in the winter...

She has a better chance of not crashing the audi in the winter, no offense....how old is she?

If she's 16 :D She can give me a ride all the time. But of course, I'll still have to drive her home after.

Slow might not be an issue with her.

A fast car isn't what anyone should have as a first car.

nothing wrong with auto. there isnt a standard budget for the car though it seems. i think the audi will cost considerably more than the integra. the lude will be up there too. If you just want the car for a few years i would go audi as well.

oh Audi for sure... like hjr said the price tags on those vehicles vary quite a bit... if she were smart she would go for the one with the highest price tag... could always sell it for more later:dunno:

easily get a used audi a4 for that price tag and any of the rest you mentioned i think the prelude might be the priciest as i have been looking at the audis for awile and their not to bad second hand.

Weren't there issues with the tiptronic in the 5th gen Preludes? I think it was 5gluder and Silverstreak had to get their trannies replaced by Honda.

It's her first car? Get her a Cavalier or Sunfire! haha How about Toyota Echo? or Corolla? Or a Civic Sedan? You can get those brand new for $22K. :dunno:

i'd say audi, not only because its awd, its also a 4 door, so cheaper on insurance also

i had an accident with my first car. so did my brother, and all my friends and im sure my sister will when she turns 16. New drivers make a lot of little mistakes that can add up to a crash up. for this reason the most expensive car may not be the best option.

Or get her a corsica. Just because she'll prolly crash it within the first month. probably into the garage door.

thats a kick in the nuts. ouch.

you people should stop telling her to buy another car because she might crash it and blah blah blah.
I know plenty of people who didnt crash their first car.
It's a bit obvious that their family is well off and can afford another car IF she did crash her first.

I'd go with an Audi if I were her though.
