No. A "glaze" is typically a sub-category of a polish and mainly serves to: A) add gloss, B) fill swirls. There will be very little protection, if any, from a glaze. You would still need to apply a wax over top of a glaze.

Try 3M's Swirl Mark Remover before the IHG, top with a good carnauba, and you're set.
(all that after a good wash and clay, of course)
