Its when u take a Baseball bat and pry at the wheel well , to give you more room for bigger Rims!:bigpimp: ...theres actually a professional way of doing this.

You're basically deforming the metal of the fender to give you more clearance for larger or wider wheels. You can do this, in time honored hot rodding tradition, with a baseball bat. Or there is an actual tool to use that will give you a perfectly radiused fender. You have to apply heat to the fender to keep the paint from cracking from the stress.

well on your fenders they have a small lip that tucks inside the wheel well, theres black plastic covering it you take off the black strip and "roll" your fenders, which really means pushing them up against the inside of the body so you can tuck your wheels and have your body of the car over the wheels...if that makes sense

James was saying theres a "professional" way of doing this.

I'd talk to tunerworks, I heard they used to rent out a tool to do this. The el-cheapo way is to use a bat and roll it along the tire pushing against the lip, this is not the best choice because the paint can chip and of course can rust...theres some tool but ask body shops around town they may do this for you.

Tunerworks has a tool that will do it nicely. Maranello's is the only shop in town that will do it for you, and i have no idea what they charge (trust me on that, I looked and looked for a place to do it and they were one of the only places that even knew what I was talking about, and the only one willing to even try).

Try Maranello they do it for 70 bucks a side , instead of rolling it only with the tool and cracking your paint or warping your fender

thanks guys,

im apart of another Civic board and everyones experience from putting wheels bigger than 17's is serious fender rub! and they said the only way to fix this would be to roll them, maybe i`ll give marinello a call and see how long it takes.

Well may be he wont because he's scared of wrecking the paint, but Scott got his done there. 3 out of the 4 were perfect. 4th one had a small chip. He might change his mind now. Ask him if Cory has experince doing it.
