Hey Guys,

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE POSTING.

NOTICE:

we are almost capped on taken spots. and that's just beyond.ca members, not including outsiders. feel welcome to bring friends, but not too many.

NOTICE:
everyone, bring two contrasting colours; one light one dark.

For the LIGHTS, I reccommend that you bring one of these colours.

White, Yellow

For the DARKS, " "

Black, Grey, Dark Blue

Most of the other colours are in between, so just make sure for whatever colour(s) you bring, that it is of the right shade.

eg. bring one white and one DARK green
or
eg. bring one dark blue and one LIGHT orange.

Official DATE and LOCATION has been decided!

5:00 pm, Sunday, July 25th @ Hampton's Field (ACROSS the street from the CO-OP). (SAME LOCATION AND TIME AS LAST TIME)

Most of the sign-ups are returnees; those who need instructions getting there or any other questions in regards to the location shouldn't be afraid to make a post. Your queries will be answered by a large number of people. In any situation, feel from to message me if you have any questions.

There are still about 3-5 spots left, and there is still a week to go before the game. This is a first come first serve event. 32 people is the highest number I can confirm. That would make for 10 substitutes, more than enough people sitting off at a time. Also, please notify me if you won't be able to make it.

Tenatively, we'll be playing on the 25th with the location remaining the same (Edgemont).

The fields in woodbine are always busy if you're talking about the ones behind Safeway because of games.. if you go across the street from the CUSA woodbine fields you'll find another field that is usually occupied by practices (we practice there). So I wouldn't suggest woodbine fields being a good alternative :D

I won't be able to go to that one because I'll just be coming back from the Chelsea vs. Celtics game in Seattle.. but make sure you guys take ALOT of pictures! :D

Actually I might be able to go.. I don't know if me and my buddies are going to be staying another night in Seattle after the game.. The game's in the afternoon, so we might leave afterwards. If we don't stay another night then I will be able to make the meet.

Put me in as tentative for now.. and I'll might bring a couple of my friends with me as well.. I'm not going to bring cones.. we didn't need them last time :D

its near country hills blvd and sarcess trail.

How I went there is take Deerfoot to Beddington Trail. Take a left at Country Hills Blvd, Make a left when you see Hamptons Co-op gas bar on your right. Your first left, then first right. Park in the cul de sac. Walk down the bike path and you're at the field.

The pitch we used for the meet was way better than any CUSA fields in Calgary cept for maybe Broadview.

I went for a drive and checked out the edgemont location this evening. There are actually three cul-de-sac's when you turn into edgeridge view, you want the one that is furthest downhill.
I checked all three of them out before I found the right one, that's what I get for not following ///AMG's repost of the directions! :rolleyes:

Heckler, those aren't my directions, see I quoted them from the first soccer thread. Man, I don't even know where it is and I went there like 2 weeks ago lol. I followed the directions cman posted, and it worked great..

how many subs we have will depend on the demographic of people coming and how many people come...it's not that easy to have subs. some people aren't willing to sit out, or there simply aren't enough people. hopefully both those factors will be accounted for, and we can have a few subs.
