Here's my situation. I just got my G2 license, and I was wondering. Say if I saw a car that I wanted to buy from a dealership. Could I buy it and drive it home?. Then get the insurance for it and the proper plates and such. What would I have to do to be able to drive that car off the lot?

I'm not sure but don't dealerships give you temporary plates and insurance. I'd call a registory and one of your potential dealerships about it to get the real answer.:)

i just took the plates off my sisters car to drive it home then i got it insured and registerd

You NEED to have insurance ANY time you drive the car. ANY TIME. Even if you just bought it. here in alberta we have a 14day grace period on getting registration, but there is no grace period on insurance.
