Anybody know how to set your browser to allow javascript to set cookies??

I've been trying to log into my gmail account but it says
"In order to log into Gmail, your browser must be set to allow javascript to set cookies."

Anybody know?
Thanks in advance

This didn't work?

Launch Internet Explorer.
Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
Under the Security tab, click Custom Level.
In the Security Settings window:
Scroll down to the Scripting section.
Make sure that the option Enable is selected under Active scripting.
If it is not selected:
Select it and click OK.
Click Apply and then OK on the Internet Options window.

go to tools | internet options | privacy | advanced | and then check the boxes to over ride default and choose to allow cookies. then close IE and open back up and you can log in.
okies, hope this helps.. and if anyone was still offering a free account. i'll be happy to accept one
