Nice ride.

My friend just picked up a 2003 GLI for 35K all in. It's got 17" rims, VR6 and ESP. Great value for money.

I am so happy with V-dubs. I have had them for a while and now I am down to a 2000 Passat and a 1998 Jetta. They run forever and have sweet aftermarket products. I would recommend Northland VW over Southcenter in a heart beat. I have had the worst service ever there in their shop, and I ended up telling the guy to f*@k off!

I guess its just like anycar. You can have an awesome one or a not-so-great one. We have a 99 Passat 1.8T 4motion and its had nothing but problems for the last year or so. We were going to keep it for a winter car (especially once my dad gets his sports car) but we are most likely going to just end up trading it in for something else. Last I heard an A4 quattro was on the list :bigpimp: :D

Yep, that was me. When I raced against my buddy who has something like 22x some horsepower... I left him in the dust... so in turn that has left me to believe that my car is producing well over 200hp....

Cheers! :bigpimp:

Nope, that I didn't... next time I should get in there... granted I will be chipped and have an assload of mods (possibly even a K04 turbo upgrade) but I should be seeing mid 14's.

Please refer to this video if you don't know what I'm talking about:

Maybe your buddy couldn't drive? Just cuz you beat him, doesn't mean you you're making "well over 200hp."

Wanna run me and see how 227hp feels like?

hahaha peter, how the hell can you say that your 2002 Jetta 1.8t has 205hp? Do you have some sort of dyno plot for us to see? It's rated at 180hp and as far as I know, your only mods at intake and a diverter valve, correct? That's not gonna give you 25hp btw.

Oh, and the TT that I drive is rated at 225hp. Care to race me and see if you have infact got 205hp? Please dont think we're uneducated.

Btw, the "hand of god" ? On a pretty much stock Jetta? If that's the hand of god, I really wonder what you'd use to describe a fast car.

Well, Althought I did not favor Peters description of his cars' "performance" when he first aquired it, that was a long time ago and he has long since made the admittance that it was in truth false, so realisticly, give the guy a break, and trop this corny subject, its really going deadend fast...
