FINALLY!! Just bought my first car

After a long wait I finally have my 240sx. It's a 1993 240sx black, with 200,xxx kms. Enine is fairly new with 30,xxx km. She's black and she's pretty.

Camera ran out of batteries before I could take more pics. So I'll post more tomorrow. She came with a sweet panasonic deck that plays mp3's and wma's but the speakers are crap so they'll need upgrading. Also the exhaust is rusted, but that's just an excuse to get a cat-back system ;)

I paid 5200 for it, super nice guy who I bought it from. And it drives like a dream so I was sold. Nah, no sr20 yet, exhaust is all rusted so that's on the top of the list, then some suspension work, then eventually I'm thinking of building up the KA. Should be fun, blow the engine then I'll have to buy an SR.

The rims are all wrecked so I might have to get new ones, plus I got some 300zx TT calipers sitting in my room. It'll be fun indeed.:D

Yeah, that's what I thought. And if a blow it down the road, replace it with a sr20 and transfer over the bigger blower.

Good plan. If i didnt have a shitty exhausted KA in my 240 when I bought it I definately would have gone that route. Good luck with it.

Man, almost done waxing my car. Just wanted to so MOTHERS KICKS ASS!!

Best stuff I've ever tried. Bought the 3 stage system.

1st stage removes the old paint and oxidation.
2nd stage is a glazer and filler.
3rd one is the wax.

Right now done stage 2, and the paint looks a million times better than it was when I started. The car's paint was still shiny but it looked old and weathered if you looked in the light you could see a haze in the paintjob (oxidation) from the 11 year old paint.

I'll post some pics when I'm done.

If anyone would like to try it I would recommend some sort of power polisher, since it'll be hell by hand. Did the first stage by hand since your suppose to use terry cloth to rub off the old layer, but the second stage I used my simoniz cordless power polisher. WAY faster and easier, fore-arm still hurt from the first stage.
