car audio

I know nothing about car audio as far as subs, speakers, and amps. I cant stand my piece of shit am/fm player and have the money to put in a nice stereo system. I dont know what brands or anything. Can anyone help me? Thanks!:confused:

stay away from sony car audio and pioneer speakers. then go nuts.

All depends on how much you want to spend.

If it were me:

Head unit = Alpine or Eclipse
Amps = JL or Phoenix Gold
Subs = JL
components = MB Quart or Infinity
