what to buy?

Hey
I might have the oppertunity to buy a car at dealer price...i cant say how.
But it can be almost any newer car that i want.
I need advice..i havent done much research on new cars like the new mazdas and such...does anyone have any ideas of a a new good car i could buy that has alot of potential for mods and has factory a fair bit of power? that is excluding the give ins such as corvettes, bmw, RX8, etc.

get a subaru wrx sti, i believe 300hp stock and all wheel drive, or a dodge srt-4 i think it has an under-rated 230hp and with the mopar upgrades i think you can get 300 whp while keeping your factory warranty.

he just said excluding exotics...if he cant afford an rx8, or a 3 series bmw...how is he suppose to afford an STi???

srt-4 on the other hand is a great car from what i've read, still hate it cause its a neon ;) , but great little car...

well you said you can't get a RX-8 so i'd assume thats around the $30,000 range, if you're looking for a solid after market, honda's always does with they're civics and accord (though i'm not a big fan of the new accord design, i'd have to say the coupe is beautiful), i'd think there is more aftermarket on a mazda 6 than a 3, and if you don't mind domestics than focus or a srt-4 isn't so bad either, there should be potential on the new golf and mini but since they're european parts might be more costly and harder to find.

Try and get an FD RX7 (93+) that would be pimp, but its only a 2 seater so it may not be pratical for you.

id go srt-4. like stated above, dealership offers aftermarket and keep the manufacter warranty!
