WHere is a good place to take my tires to be mounted? And how much should I expect it to come to?

I have 1 set of rims with tires, 1 set without...I need to swap the tires from one set to the other.

I have no clue how they remove/mount the tires, can someone explain it to me? Will the rim be scratched at all?

Thanks

Go to Econo-Tire in the NE.. it's the cheapest and they do a good job. It's also a first-come, first-serve basis, so you don't have to book an appointment.
Good luck!

Go to Karl at Speedville he is pretty cheap, does a good job, and he has the stick on weights.

how much should I expect to pay?

Dismounting 4 tires, then remounting them.

About 50-70 bux. Make sure they use the stick on weights.

Some of the smaller shops charge around 5 bux to mount and 5 to balance. I know of two off the top of my head near the SE area.

One is Poorboy tire (lol, you know this guy is cheap). 10 bux mounted and balanced.

There is a place on the corner of 17avenue SE and 56ST SE that is a full mechanical shop and works pretty cheap. Same price.

I have to go in for service at the nissan dealership, so I'll ask if they will do it for free, otherwise I'll stop at costco or kal-tire.

I don't really care where, as long as they guarantee against scratches, although that doesn't really mean much.

Silvercivicsir: If you are slow at mounting a tire you need a slap ;)
